B. sanguinea x arborea (IRF) (USDA 9a)
B.sanguinea x arborea (USDA 9a) has been grown from seed as B.sanguinea x arborea likened to a 'red flame' in flower. Rubella is a cross between sanguinea and arborea so the flower does have a beautiful mild scent. The flower is a yellow and deep red bulging tubular corolla, with lovely mild scent and flowers are 20cm long. Cold variety flowers from January to May and in the autumn in mild areas.
