Passiflora vitifolia, the perfumed passionflower, is a species of Passiflora, native to southern Central America and northwestern South America. P. vitifolia is a vigorous, tender, evergreen climber with downy, reddish-brown stems bearing glossy, toothed, deeply lobed, dark green leaves and, from summer into autumn, bowl-shaped, bright red flowers with short, white filaments and longer, yellow or dark red filaments.
