Pseudopanax lessonii 'Moa's Toes' is from New Zealand. It has triple lobed glossy leaves with purple, dark green  and maroon colours. Frost hardy to about -2-3c, and would appeciate fleece if colder. (as would most plants brrr)


This plant occurs naturally in forest margins and scrubland of NZ. Needs a well drained soil humus soil and grows to a height of 2m x 2m wide.


In common with all Pseudopanax, they can be found as epiphytes in their native New Zealand.
