What a fantastic opportunity!!
On Sunday 13th October 2019 I was asked to be Garden Guru on the BBC Radio Devon's Gardening show with Toby Buckland English gardener, TV presenter and author, best known for being the main presenter from 2008-10 of BBC's long running flagship gardening programme Gardeners' World.
The interview latest half an hour between tracks and covered my journey thus far within Exotic Earth Plants, my micro business, which has been trading for a year.
We covered the business background, my bio, subtropical plants and of course Brugmansia, the plant I specialise in.
This was my first time on radio and I must say I was anxious but well prepared. I covered about half of the material including, cold and warm species, growing tips, top favourites, and upcoming fairs for 2020.
