The tamarillo is a small tree or shrub in the flowering plant family Solanaceae. It is best known as the species that bears the tamarillo, an egg-shaped edible fruit.
Large leaves, medium size fruit in September and harvest February. Small delicate white flowers. Can grow to 12 to 14 ft high with large leaves and purple huws.
Supplied as small 20 to 30cm plant, in a 1ltr pot.
